Ich brauche bitte mal eure Hilfe

Ich hab mir neulich diese Anleitung gekauft, weil ich ein Babymützchen für eine Taufe häkeln soll.. Den Mützenkorpus hab ich soweit auch fertig, jetzt geht es um die Blende unterhalb des Bandes und irgendwie ist mir grad wie gar nix mehr kapieren.
soweit bin ich bis jetzt:

und nun heißt es weiter:
Make the ruffle:
Round 1: ch2 (counts as 1dc), 2dc in space between the last dc and the first dc of previous round, ch 3, 3 dc in same space,* ch 5, 1sc in next 6th dc of previous round (in the middle of the second group of 4 dc to the left of the hook), ch 5, 3 dc in next 6th dc of previous round, ch 3, 3 dc in same stitch of previous round*, repeat from * to * 7 more times, ch5, 1sc in next 6th dc of previous round, ch5, join with sl st in 2nd ch st of first ch2.
Muss ich die Dst irgendwie kreuzen? Ich denke mal, wenn ich die "Lösung des Rätsels" für diese Runde habe, komme ich mit dem Rest wieder klar, aber momentan versteh ich grad nur Bahnhof und Koffer klaun
